Hi,

I never really used projcontact, I had a look at docs, but for some reasons it's not working well.
I declared the projectile with ID stuff in the special move state.

Then I would like to allow a super cancel from the projectile contact.

trigger1 = ProjContact1010 = 1

1010 is the actual ID of the projectile not the special move itself.

It's hard finding exemples of projcontact used to make it working well since characters tends to use helpers instead now.

Any suggestion to make it working well ?
Thanks

how and where are you coding the supercancel move? Share the code you are using

I'm pretty sure it needs to be
Trigger1=projcontact(1010)>=1

Hope this helps

No, Projcontact uses the old mugen syntax without brackets. A read into the existing documentation would have avoided that.

This is the code.

;---------------------------------------------------------------------------
[State -1, SUPER MOVE]
type = ChangeState
value = 3050
triggerall = command = "SUPER2"
triggerall = power >= 1000
trigger1 = statetype = S
trigger1 = ctrl
trigger2 = statetype != A
trigger2 = hitdefattr = SC, NA, SA;, HA
trigger2 = movecontact
trigger3 = ProjContact1010 = 1

Your trigger condition may be too tight, as you would need to perform the super at the exact frame the projectile makes contact.

Try with something like this, which should give you a bit more buffer:
trigger3 = ProjContact1010 = 1, < 30

Oh! I got the idea, thanks!
I'm trying that.

Maybe the trigger itself is very restricted, you should use the variant instead, ProjContactTime, it works similar to AnimTime (with the () like that trigger) and made it by time, something like:

trigger3 = ProjContactTime(1010) < 30

Basing in the example XG gave to you. In theory, should work the same, but maybe this one being made specificly to time adjusts should work better. Oh, and also there're ProjHitTime and ProjGuardedTime in case you want something more specific
