Basically wat the title says, I wanna try getting into commentating and/or reviews.
I open up Fraps and launch mugen. I press F9 because apparently thats the video capture hotkey. I have fraps saving it into folder in my documents. Whenever I leave it though and check the docs, nothings there. Does anyone know what to do?

You need to change your mugen.cfg file accrodingly:

For Winmugen:
DXmode = Windowed
BlitMode = PageFlip

For Mugen 1.0:
BlitMode = PageFlip
RenderMode = OpenGLScreen

If it still doesn't work after that, I suppose I can share you my mugen.cfg, cause I got fraps working for both versions. ;)

What if the settings for 1.0 slows down the entire game?
to be more specific, i tried my hand at recording just now and when it's set to "normal" and "system" mugen runs smooth, but of course fraps won't appear on the window (at which is what i understand is the normal reaction), however, when i change to the 1.0 settings to record with fraps (PageFlip and OpenGLScreen), my FPS gets seriously chopped down around 13 - 14, and to make matters worse, when i look at the vid i recorded i get sounds but no picture.........is there another option i could possibly tweak around with to get a better outcome i guess?

EDIT: nvm....Bandicam works a lot better right now
