My iPod Nano's being a bitch to me, when I charge it via electrical outlet it switches on and off and then when I plug it in to the PC it says very low battery. Is it because of a virus or something?

How old is it? If it's getting on a bit (relatively speaking) then you may well just be getting common failiures (mainly the battery).

Apple don't seem to be very good at designing batteries... older (and newer) Macbooks fail the same way.

Edit: Peh, beaten to it.

It's like 1 year and I only used for like....3 or 4 months.

I REALLY REALLY need your help guys, when I connect it to the PC it says "very low battery". Does this mean my battery's fucked up since it won't charge via electrical outlet?

You could try to reset it.

A frozen iPod won't charge.

    * iPod 1G to 3G (scroll & touch wheel iPods): "Menu" and "Play/Pause"
      ipod

    * iPod 4G+ (includes Photo, Nano, Video, and Mini): "Menu" and "Select Center Button"
      ipod

    * iPhone & iPod Touch: "Menu" and "Sleep Button"
      iphone

Hold these button for a couple sec til it resets.
