It kinda bugs me that Fugo isn't the same color as the SAS. Oh well, at least that color somewhat resembles his Vento Aureo color.

Another thing, in the stream they mentioned that characters will be discounted in price so instead of 600 its 300 for a limited time.

...I hope Fugo has a move where he just walks away and throws the match.

I'd like to see that as a time over, instead of a draw you forfeit.
I don't realistically expect it of course, but hey, why not.

Dataminers have found placeholders for some of the upcoming characters.

Baoh is highlighted here, and it also covers Iggy, Fatty, Kira and Fugo, along with placeholders for all these peoples' stands.  It also apparently has spots for Lisa Lisa, Old Joseph, Vanilla Ice and Anasui.

Iggy, old Joseph AND Vanilla Ice ? That would make 9 part 3 characters. So they're going even beyond the 8 chars per part rumor ? Could be just for a couple of exceptions.
27 DLC chars for 300 yens is still somewhere around $80. ...

I'm pretty sure they said something to the effect that the remaining characters would be up to the fans.  If they do a poll of some sort I'll guarantee you Part 3 won't be the only lopsided part.

I don't know if they're going to get alts for novels yet. The manga has plenty of material when it comes to that.

I'd be okay with that, especially if it means that the DLC will be spread over a much longer period of time. 30+ DLC spread over a year and a half or something is getting much more viable, not to mention a good enough revenue plan for them, I might be willing to pull 6 to 10 bucks a month (skipping a couple maybe). They deserve it if they can pull it off. Hell, if they can delay it enough, they might include Joshuu or a couple of part 8 characters.
But, which parts do you mean by lopsided ? I don't really know which parts are popular, you think part 4 or 5 will have lots of votes ?

I'm pretty sure Part 6 would get shat on in a fan poll, which'd mean no Foo Fighters for me, even if she got up over Weather Report.

The thing is.. Game has 34 characters by default.
50+ are confirmed.
For DLC so far we have: Anasui, Lisa Lisa, Vanilla Ice, Old Joseph, Iggy, Fugo, Baoh, Fatty and Kira
That means we know 9 DLCs.
34+9 = 43
Which means there's about what? 7+ more character slots? Part 6 and 7 need more love.
