How about talking about joke characters?
Also, how about giving definition and also sharing good ideas for joke characters as well?
I've went playing with Skalx ROA and Bryaaaaaaaaaan which are pretty funny and crazy.
Although, Bryaaaaaaaaaaan is pretty insane, he even get odd stance animations at random.
I may try a character called "Heart Of Madness" in the future, lol

LOL, when Asura is hit in the aerial special, Akuma's face appears on top of Asura's face. You can see this between 0:54-0:56.

Wasn't this talked about already?

Asura is a Mix of Akuma/Rugal, so thats pretty much Akuma partly coming out of the body.
Atleast thats what I remember.

Please stop doing this. You can't control what people post in this topic. You made a topic about joke characters. There are no rules that require people to give descriptions. If someone wants to give a description, then they will give a description.

You can't lock topics because people aren't posting what you want. People are talking about joke characters. If you want this thread to be full of descriptions, then start doing it yourself.

The topic title says "Joke Characters" and has a question mark. We've been through this before. Think your topics through before you make them.

Look at the characters themselves as far as i know. The_None's stuff are mostly joke characters. It's always better to try it out than have someone tell you.

I just wished more discussion about it.
It feels boring when people just submit links and don't give any definition or share ideas.
Those who commented don't feel inspirated to talk about how a joke character could be, neither are inspirated to give ideas.
That's what I wanted, I'm not asking people to suggest a character, what I want is discussion and ideas about joke characters.
There are so many, it don't hurt discussing about them or giving ideas.
Let's make the thread more enjoyable.
We must remember that badly done characters by purpose are not joke characters at all.
They must have be funny and have really random jokes.
But let's skip rape monster characters like Kuromaru, it goes to other category.
Also, remember that is not a question of putting rules in the thread, the purpose is discussing about the joke characters and share ideas.
It feels lazy and uninspirated just saying links and also just suggesting authors.
I do believe that those who posted could share more opinions than just a vague post.
And here is some more discussion:
Scoth Pilgrim by Basara X is a pretty funny joke character and since the author don't found get hit sprites, he added from other characters.
The effect is pretty random and hilarious and I laughed when I saw him turning into Protoman in his crouch get hit sprites (and without his lower body).
The helpers are pretty random, they're not the ones from Scoth Pilgrim videogame, but also give a humorous effect.
You can really laugh at the Joe Higashi showing his butt too.
Also, his multi-helper attack is a pretty good idea as well, I may steal that idea too, lol
I attempted to replace one of his helpers with Momoko Asuka to make it more hilarious, but I failed.
The angle draw is not working and she keep appearing like a giant O_o

Skalx ROA:
As you see, Skalx ROA have random transformations and voices of his own if compared with his normal version.
He even become Taokaka in one of his moves and also some Jojo Bizzarre Aventure characters as well.
Skalx ROA could have a super which he use a Nyancat as a proton cannon, but with a rainbow colored beam instead, lol

Bryaaaaaaaaaaan:
Bryaaaaaaaaaaan is pretty insane, just see how he attacks.
He can launch mini versions of himself and have lots of variations in his stand.
He can even crush Lucky Glauber and throw him into the enemy, there is even a super which Lucky Glauber appears riding a Bryan clone which keep shooting basketballs in the target.
Bryaaaaaaaaaaan can stretch his limbs, not just arms, but also his head (which he also dettach it).
He also have a crazy copy of Blodia Punch as well which is pretty funny, that would be cool using it against Jin Saotome himself, lol

I'm not really sure if that's supposed to happen, but if you say so. I tried other Asura and I think that never happened with them.

I'm glad you liked my Joke Scott, I thought people just get trolled by him and doesn't like it because wasn't a legit char (as Melvana, for example). I don't know, if people like it, maybe I get back online. And thanks for offering help in editing sprites for him, I'm glad to accept your help with it

For the discussion, there're various creators who specialize in good joke characters: The_None, aokmaniak13 and Most_Mysterious are some of the "lords" of joke characters, and recently Melvana and DrKelexo joined to that group. I can recommend you Most_Mysterious' Alex, it was the first Alex for MUGEN with a LOL touch, but it's offline sadly (The_None's update it's another joke itself, and it's great, too)

And various famous creators made their own joke chars, as POTS' Rare Akuma and Vans' Rage Rock

Author — 608 ( This is the same guy that made the Original God Orochi/Mizuchi/Adel/Silver and Dark Athena 3rd ).

Intro — Dark Athena 3rd / God Adel / God Silver smashed by God Mizuchi v2 ( Indirectly, he admits they're terrible and is ashamed of them, through this and he told me himself ). Another edit of his, God P-Chan ( Duck Kings duck ) is smashed and burns, the fire remains throughout the entire round and can be used against you.

Moveset — Rapid 3 hit slap, Lazy kick, Dhalsim arm, Tatsumaki, High kick and grin, Rugal Excusion, Cutter Kicks ( He's primarily a fan of Capcom and SNK ), whirlwind and grin, a special ""misogi"", a hyper ""misogi"" that's even spammier than Rare Akuma's.

Winpose — Flaps his arms like a helicopter and flies off.

Death — Carried away offscreen by minis.

Sound — Lots of frequency variances. This is exactly why freqmul is a big deal to me, this character sounds absolutely HORRIBLE on 1.0.

His 12th Palno is him flapping his arms in a UFO. It flies around and spits out the weirdest and most disturbing sprites you will ever see as attacks and sounds and voices are accorded.

Then there's the cheap boss mode, Palno 7-11. Pretty much nothing funny exists here so you could call it the ""serious"" mode. Flashy, but not eyesore flashy, and the majority of the effects are his designs.

You'd honestly be surprised how generally well made he is.
