Following a leak yesterday, International Games Systems has officially announced Sangoku Senki: Knights of Valour for PlayStation 4.

The side-scrolling beat ‘em up is a celebration of the Sangoku Senki Taiwanese arcade series’ 15th anniversary.

"A Whole-new Experience of Scrolling Action Game! The Ultimate Evolution of Arcade Masterpiece!
Once a sensational 2D side-scrolling action game of popularity, Knights of Valour now appears on the brand-new 3D stage! Beside the thrilling battle combos and secret chambers with treasures to discover, as experienced in the previous version, there are unique, fascinating warriors, numerous stages of adventure and excitement, and various special boss battles, as well as the addictive feature of equipment collection to enjoy. Now, grab your weapon, work with your partners and open up your own world in Knights of Valour!"


It will be free-to-play and launch in Japan and Asia during spring 2015. It will also be playable at the Tokyo Game Show this week.
