KOF 2002 UM HD ScreenPack/Compilation Game

I'm still working on the KOFXIII SP but I'm going to wait for some HD videos of the real game so I can keep updating my SP.  I want to keep going with my Capcom VS SNK 3 SP but I've kind of hit a mental BLOCK when it comes to the select screen for that SP so I've put that one on hold. Currently I'm working on a KOF 2002 UM SP since it is my current favorite KOF game and since people have been asking for a SP with more character slots and this SP allows for just that  :sugoi:

This SP will have an HD version of the KOF2002UM intro


This is the Main menu but I want to make the selections like "arcade, options, ect..." around the image like the real KOF2002UM but I don't know how to do that so if someone can help me with that and provide the right kind of font for it that will make a huge difference.


This is the options menu and I think It is appropriate since Nameless is a clone created from Kyo and K'


This is my current WIP select screen.  All I have to do to finish it is make all the small portraits ( you can see kyo, benimaru, and daimon already done) and position the names of the characters in the correct spots.  It will look similar to the original image from KOF2002UM


This is the VS screen and like my other SP's they use KOFXIII styled sprites. It's not completely done but it's almost there.  Like the select screen I have to fix the positioning of the character's names.


Finally there is my win screen which again is not completely done but i'm almost there.  I think I'm just going to work on the top part and I'll be done with it.



I'm still working on the gameover screen and the life bar but they are not far enough along for me to show any screenshots. As always feel free to give me suggestions and advice  8)

I guess you're not going to make the icon being able to move to foolow hexagonal placement of the portraits, but you'll be using a simple normal grid ?

Anyway, this looks really nice. :)

Wow. This will probably leave a lot of people with their mouths wide open. I somehow knew that you were waiting for more KOFXIII videos and pictures since the game is still not out yet. Anyhow, I am pretty sure that you WILL make a monster screenpack with all the videos and pictures and ect. on this game. Yea! Can't wait till you release a beta of this! =D

That's why I put "compilation game" as well as screenpack in the title.  I think I know how to make the same kind of design that was used in the original game for the select screen but it would be to much hassle for normal mugen users to build even if I gave them the instructions.  maybe I'll make a simple version and a complicated version since I think this one will work both ways.

Cybaster if you have any suggestions on who I could code the hexagonal placement of the portraits just let me know  :D

It's not easy to do. You have to make the icon with an hexagonal shape and make it huge with a big 1280*720 delta to make it move correctly.
Maybe ask Vans or/and Jesuszilla for the method, since they did it for their old version of their CVS game screenpack.

Since I'm planning on releasing this sp as a compilation game as well, I was wondering if anyone had links to kof2002 um characters with the new hsdm and kof 2002 um stages

oh this is cool,  when you finish the screenpack, and if the autor of chars have a permission for you, i send a permission for used my stages in this screenpack n.n, but only if you have the persmissions of the real autor or stages ok n.n congratulations
