Hey people,

another of my old wips is at beta. This time its the final boss from the Blade Master arcade. I don't think she/it had an ingame name, so I gave it one.

I decided to move the char forward once her full sheet was released on Spriters Resource. She may feel choppier than my other characters, as she really has very few frames and almost none actual attacks in the game. Imagine having a sword and never actually using it.

Anyhow get her here:

Feedback is very welcome, as I consider her a beta at best.

She has a surprisingly complete spriteset. But the char is a bit all over the place. Here's some stuff I found:

- The normal attack progression feels a little off. Like the little tail sweep being HP while the wide sword swing is MP
- Related but tail attacks feel like they should be kick buttons
- Weird how it uses a MvC template but the hitsparks are miscellaneous
- No movelist?
- Specials should have 3 versions each instead of QCF+x being a fireball, QCF+y a tackle and QCF+z doing nothing
- QCB+p could be merged with QCF+x under the 3 versions I just mentioned
- Same with QCF+y and QCF+b. It's almost like the specials don't use the same button layout as everything else
- QCF+pp has like no buildup at all. She should freeze longer
- Dashes should carry their momentum into normal attacks if really going for MvC style
- QCF+a+b spends meter but has no superpause
- Forward dash macro shouldn't require holding forward
- Her launcher lauches way lower than her super jump
- She uses non-standard state numbers for no reason. Such as 999 for taunt and 300 for crouching attacks. Not an issue in itself but it will hurt compatibility with some chars
- Throws are KOF style instead of MvC. They can't even use HP/HK
- She can throw without holding any direction
- Launcher custom state makes P2 use a sound they won't have most of the time

Thank you very much for the feedback mate!!

Tried to fix as much as I can, if anyone is interested the download in the 1st post has been updated.

A lot of the issues stem from the template i used. Honestly thought the change in attack state numbers etc was the new meta :D
