Loading screens!Update: edited for 640x480 since I find a lot of people using this resolution, plus other swappable loading screens through Fighters factory or any sff supported programs. The purpose of this is for large rosters that requires long load time when starting up. Any ideas and feedbacks are welcome, enjoy.6/24/11640x480: http://www.sendspace.com/file/sgak8p6/11/11 update, no waiting version. you dont need to push any key after it loads.1280x720: http://www.sendspace.com/file/8f7siv6/9/11 waiting version:1280x720: http://www.sendspace.com/file/0ljo3hNOTE:Winmugen and older versions of mugen are untested and most likely will have errors. With this loading screen you cannot and will not have standard logo(s) and intros because it overwrites both. it is used for those who dont use logo(s) or intros. However if your experience enough you can code the loading screens into your logos and intros and they will work as well.Install:put logo.sff, logo_A.def and logo_B.def in data folder.replace these lines in system.def in the "Files" section:[Files]logo.storyboard = data/logo_A.defintro.storyboard = data/logo_B.defcredits:Please credit me if you decide to modify it.

So why just the update in the low def loading screens? What about those using HD? Are we stuck with just the one image?

Are we stuck with just the one image?no, not really. you can make your own but you need to convert it to an 8 bit and pcx format for mugen to display it though, otherwise it wont show. I can take request in making high quality bgs if you like. you do however need fighters factory to swap it or any other sff supported programs to make the swap.
Mothman said, June 26, 2011, 03:31:19 amNot to sound like an ungrateful bastard, but is there really a need for a loading screen?just preference, Im just sharing what I made because I use them. You need to try my loading screens before you decide, theyre not like the many others youve seen or those that come with screenpacks. mines is a bit different because I use two sets of def to run a single loading screen for displaying before and after effects making it a more legitamate loading screen. it begins loading immediately as soon as the screen pops up not like a lot of loading screens ive seen and it goes straight to your title screen as soon as it finishes. You need to try it to believe it.
