Making animated GIFs from SFF's

I think its possible with fighter factory. Though I'm not sure how to do it. Does anyone know or can point me to a tutorial?

Here how it works:

1.) Open up the character in Fighter's Factory.
2.) Go to the animations section and locate the animation to be exported to gif.
3.) Click on the cactus button (or Ctrl+Shift+G) and follow the instructions.

When animating the moves in fighter factory, there's this little button that looks like a cactus.
