Allow me to have an opportunity to share my first Char.
He is still beta version but hope you like him and follow later updates.

The Mask

Thank you to:
thatguy               - for fixing sff pallet issues
Kong                   - for his contribution of base sprites
Pizzasause2000    - for KFM MvC template he made
Beximus              - I used some of his bulleta's codes as a reference.
ZVitor                  - I used his Spiderman's code as a reference for Suicide Bombing super move.

Does he give compatible characters wedgies and atomics? Nah kidding, but worth a shot.

Not bad at all, good work on your first character. :)

EDIT: Just a little feedback by a friend on Facebook.

- Sometimes when The Mask perform Low Strong Punch, the enemy freezes.

- Sometimes when The Mask perform Low Strong Punch, the enemy freezes.

Thank you for letting me know that.
I'll find a cause of this glitch for the next update.

Adding to what gui0007 said
  • QCF + Z special is an infinite
  • His tie turns red in his crouch and his crouching heavy kick (or rather his bomb throw)
  • Not sure how I feel about his standing animation, something just doesn't feel right IMO not sure what though
  • Same with the chip damage on his heavy standing punch, heavy air punch, and crouching hard kick. Typically most fighting games besides mortal kombat they don't have chip damage on basics (especially when the moves have decent safety like crouching heavy kick and Heavy air punch, it makes those basics really good compared to everything else)

Here are some small updates.

- Added the new stance

To change the stancet to new one, please open the file ""
(or "", depend on the version of mugen you use. Please do not forget to choose the appropriate def file neither.)
with some text application, and change the number in the section placed on the top.

- Added Hyper portrait

- Fixed some sprites (default stance heights, color of tie, and so on.)

- Fixed some glitches (infinite and opponent freeze)

       Allow me to leave chip damage in some heavy basic moves. I think I wanna treat them as rather semi-special moves.
I intended to make each moves have their risks so far (like, a bomb in Down Heavy Kick doesn't have attack frames in first 6 frames, and hitting in near can cause opponents revenge.)

Some updates again.

Thanks to thatguy's help, finally he got alternate colors.
There will come yolomate's another awesome pallets too!

And added one new special move.

(Magnum Shot - F,D,DF+Kick)

An advice: if you want voices for your character, look at WAV clips of the movie and add them to the SND. I made that with my Scott Pilgrim (the game has no voices, so I used from the movie), or if you can't find, try to download videos and extract their audio. Also, try to add more cartoon sounds to your character, it feels empty without all the sounds Big Head makes (apart of having no voice).

Otherwise it looks cool, for a moment I thought it was another adaptation of the SNES game, good to see it's not. Keep working on it ;)

I got some ideas for you for the mask. You can add the horn saying AAOOOOGAH as a new super. And he needs a new intro when he fight against a female fighter (such as Psylocke, Rogue, Morrigan, Lilith, and more), his heart started to pump and went crazy in love with one of them. I'm talking about any female fighter he fell in love with just like he fell in love with Cameron Diaz from the movie.
