Mixing Clsn and ClsnDefault hitboxes causes crashes?

I've been seeing some random topics that mention how mixing together Clsn and ClsnDefault hitboxes would sometimes make MUGEN crash without showing any error messages.  I've never experienced such crashes myself, although the majority of my MUGEN experience was with WinMUGEN on Windows XP so this might be a more modern problem that I have yet to encounter.

I'm just wondering if this really is confirmed to be the cause of those crashes.  But whether it is or not, I'm gonna play it safe for now and keep the Clsn and ClsnDefaults separate from each other in my latest project.  Which means putting separate Clsn2's on every single frame of a dynamic animation like some kind of unoptimized barbarian.

I've never had this problem if you do things right. Problem is that in fighter factory, if you have 2 active clsn boxes and then select one and change it to clsndefault, then you will have 1 clsn box and 1 clsndefault box of the same type in the same frame.
I think this is what could cause the crash, but it's due to sloppy coding from the creator.

I seem to remember that mugen would only use either the clsn or the clsn default, but my memory si fuzzy and mugen might work well and the clsn tool was the one that broke.
