mmm..what is the properties and differences between the modes like:
WIndowed (this I understand), Software ; hArdware, what is the better?
I choosed "Software" and is Full screen after execute the program..but some special Info..I don't know..

Software: use the 100% of cpu resources
Hardware: use GPU (Graphic Processor Unit, use the video card) is much better! low cpu resources, good vision and more faster!

Plus to what Skank88 said, software uses the system memory area to create surfaces (a.k.a. screens), so you'll be consuming RAM and not VRAM. In hardware, as you may think, the surfaces are created in the VRAM, thus allowing faster blit operations and lower system load.

Safe: a video mode when you start mugen with low resources....this is used if you have video problems like destroyed sprites, strange effects on the screen etc...
