Monkey D. Luffy

hello friends
from latinoamérca I bring my first char that is not DBZ.

I belong to Team DBZ OS, and my previous work can be found all the chars in Mugen forum Generations, and our official website. http://os.zobyhost.com/

About five months ago I'm watching One Piece series and as I liked MUHC I am dedicated to make chars for Mugen. So in future I will be visiting to bring the chars that I will continue doing. In anticipation I tell them that my next char will almost certainly Crocodile.

Sorry for the instructions of the char are in Spanish .. sorry about that..

Lista de Movimientos

Sistema Básico:
Puño: A
Patada : B
Special: C

;-| Super Motions |------------------------------------

"Gear Third" = F,B,DB,D,DF,F,a+b+c
(-3000 power)

"Jet Gatuling Full" = B(2 segs),F,B,F,a+b
(Solo es posible en modo Gear Second)

"Gear Second" = B,F,DF,D,DB,B,a+b

"Super Stomp" = D,DB,B,D,DB,B,b

;-| Special Motions |----------------------------------------

"Metralleta" = a,a,a,a,a,a...... (rapidito)

"Gum Stomp" = D,DB,B,b
(también se puede hacer en el aire)

"Bazooka" = D,DF,F,c

"Taladro" = D,DF,F,a

"Agarre" = F,DF,D,DB,B,c

"Lanzamiento" = F,DF,D,DB,B,a
"Rocket" = D,DB,B,c

"Baloon" = D,DB,B,a

Feedback after initial testing:

- The tapping A attack should just have one big hitbox in front of him, not one for each individual fist hit.
- Also tapping A can be an infinite against some characters.
- Hitboxes disappear during his run animation.

I made this sig. :ninja:

Props to a friend for my avvie

From One Piece: Gigant Battle. It uses the same sprite style the Jump games did.

thanks for commenting.

sprites are taken from different games:
- WonderSwan
- GBA
- Jump to Ultimate Stars
- One Piece Battle Gigant

I edited the sprites so that they are the same size and style. The predominant style in the char is WonderSwan / GBA which I think is the most complete (much more than the Gigant Battle).
I also did various customs for movements were not any games out there.

if someone wants it here I leave the sheet with all the sprites I used.
Spoiler, click to toggle visibilty

I hope you like the style of programming: SNK / Guilty Gear

by Whitebeard .... take much to make that character .... are first whole band of the Straw Hat and Baroke Works.

a greeting.

Well I'll be. An actual decent Luffy. :o

I didn't go too far into testing, but aside from the problems listed above, and this:

(With the enemy in the corner, qcf+A > run back up to the opponent > qcf+A again, repeat)

(Also note the typo in his name :P )

which can be fixed by simply toning down the attack's pausetime, this is pretty decent. Well done.  :)
