Mugen 1.0 RC8 EVE Battle HD Problems

Hello everybody. I just successfully converted my old WinMugen (chars, stages, and everyything else) to a new Mugen RC8 1.0 EVE Battle HD and I am currently testing it out with all my past chars and stages to see if they work in it. However, this is quite tedious as I have about 500 chars and 250+ stages and going through each of them 4 at a time is time consuming. So if anyone who's which ones are and aren't compatible with my Mugen, please tell me. I'll post my select.def of chars and stages below. Also I was wondering if anyone has encountered this problem in their 1.0 Mugen. I go to have a 2 on 2 battle, but when I select the characters, their names go on top of each other rather than underneath each other symmetrically. Example: SS2 Majin Vegeta and SS3 Goku (teaming up) would appear as something like: SS2 MajinSSGVegeta, rather than:
SS2 Majin Vegeta
SS3 Goku.
If anyone knows how to fix this, please tell me. I know it's a trivial problem that doesn't affect gameplay whasoever, but it matters to me because I like to have my Mugen's appearance looking good.

Most of the chars that works in WinMugen works also in Mugen 1.0; but sometimes you'll find some troubles; these are caused by:
- bad mugen spelling (eg velset = 0,0,0 that should instead be velset 0,0 because once it was programmed to be x,y and z coordinates)
- and others I don't know :P

For the other thing...
You have to search ";Character select definition" in your system.def in the data folder; then, search for ";Name" ;below you'll find p1.name.offset, play with the values a bit and then p1.name.spacing that means how much space (in pixels) there is between each name of the players in the same team. If it is 0,0 you will have all names overlying theirselves, making the names unreadable.

Well I played around with the "p1.name.offset" like you said, but no good results. However, I didn't mess around with the "p1.name.spacing" considering that it doesn't exist in my "select" def file. Did you mean to say: "p1.teammenu.item.spacing" or "p1.teammenu.value.spacing" in the ";Team menu" section or did you mean something else?

By the way, so far I've tested the first 44 characters and first 38 stages and these are the ones that don't work:

1. SuperSaiyanGokuarc (by Sammy)
2. gokuk (by EmuBoarding)
3. kgohan (by GohanSSM2)
4. Vegetaboo (by Roken)

and the stage:

1. BardockStage by (Crazy Logic)-it runs in slow motion

Post your system.def with the code button, exactly the "Character select definition" part. System.def, not select.def, this one is only for characters and stages.

Anyway, p1.name.offset is where you put the name of the first char; p1.name.spacing is as I said the distance between each name.
p1.teammenu.item.spacing is for the "window" where you select the mode (vs, turns,simul), the distance between each mode name; if it is 0,0 every name is like the example "vsimrns", and you can't understand a thing.
Hope this helps!

About the chars, post the error you get when you try them.
For Vegeta, I fixed it and I can say that it is only a velset problem (he wrote 0,0,0 instead of just 0,0 so delete the third zero). In every state the mugen tells there should be that mistake, but if you find something else tell me.

As for the chars, I have another person helping me with this, so you don't need to help me anymore if you don't want too. If you do, the chars that I still have issues with for Mugen 1.0 are:

1. Austin (Stone Cold) (by The HeartBurnKid)-he runs fine but his palette is completely messed up

meh the code on common1.cns of those 4 merely winmugen code no wonder it wont work on 1.0 same as broli too

you're missing p1.name.spacing, write it in the system.def like this. Modify it to your liking. Numbers are only examples.
