I'll be updating this topic with any more info about the full game in the future and as it becomes available.
First, an intro: I started this project shortly after creating (roughly) two characters using the NZC
sprites and sprite style. Originally I was working with Laharl and then SXVector on this, but to clear
up any confusion, it's just me now. Not to "bad-mouth" them or anything, as they are both my friends,
but I was just something I had to do. There's no way I could expect them to copy my style and get things
the way I wanted. So, it's all mine now. But that's ok. Things are going slower, but are still getting done.
What about a roster? It's hard to really explain this one, because I get new ideas for characters every couple
of weeks. What I can guarantee though, is that all characters from the NCZ source are made.

Stages:
All 16 stages are now done and have been revamped to include interactivity in some way. Not all have it, but most do.
Current focus:
Due to the new mechanics, the life bars are getting a revamp too.

New mechanics are going to be introduced:
Guard Break.
- If the enemy is guarding to much, you can break their guard. Guard sparks have been replaced with a static barrier that resides around the character. The colors of the barrier change, getting closer to red until it breaks.
Kawarimi (Substitution) with its own gauge.
- Before the Kawarimi used a small amount of Chakra and could be used almost infinitely. This will no longer be the case. There will be a special gauge on the lifebars that will let you know when you can use it. After you do, you have to wait for it to fill again before using it again. It will fill over time.
Chak-rush mode.
- This is a special mode that will come with an indicator on the lifebars. It's called Chakra Rush (Chak-rush) and adapted from the original game. It powers you up and gives you infinite chakra and super armor. Now, the difference in my version is that you will be able to get those features just like before, but can't use supers in this mode. Why? Well, because with infinite chakra you'd just spam lvl3 supers... and we can't have that level of cheapness here. "So, then what's the point?" you may be asking. Well, the idea is that you can focus on combos in this mode. See Chakra Cancel below.
Chakra Cancel.
- This is a feature that allows you cancel from anything but supers to follow up with and start new combos. The burst from Chakra Cancel freezes time for a short amount, giving you a good opportunity to follow up with something. This comes an expensive cost though. It's a little more less than it costs to do a level-1 super.
