Need help to decrease AI level

I didn't really know where to ask that but here it is :

I'm not able to code AI and I have some characters that are a pain to fight  (i know i'm certainly not very good but they really are a pain XD)
I'm talking about Jill (xjill) by XCB. updated by Kamek , the MVC2_Megaman (no author in the .def file) and SuperMario by ShinRyoga/Neo Ankh
I can upload them if you need but i don't know if that's allowed  ???

In short, i just want to know what i have to modify to make them...er... softier?
Or maybe is there a patch to apply? or someone who can do one?
