Need help on versus mode, I can't fight the CPU, it's only two player

It seems to be only two player, the thing is, I just want a simple 1 on 1 match with the CPU, can you do that?  see I just downloaded mugen, I know how to add all the stuff its just this problem ticks me off.
Ehh I want to play VS mode with the CPU, but its only 2 player?

Enter watch mode and then press Control +1 to take control of player one.

Or versus mode and press Ctrl+2 to make P2 controlled by CPU. Ctrl+number (1-4) changes players between human and CPU.

There is no mode for that.


You can do it anyway: choose versus mode as if you wanted to go up against a human player. Enable debug mode (or the debug keys, anyway... should be enabled by default) and hit CTRL + 2. This switches the player #2 from human to AI control. Hit it again and the character is back to manual control (though he might continue repeating his last action until you press a button).
