In case you're one of the few people like me who care about the spin off.http://www.siliconera.com/2014/01/27/phantom-breaker-battle-grounds-getting-characters-new-mode-dlc/Not much new info with the main game however.
I do because I bought it last week or so for 5$. the DLC is way over priced though and I'm sure this will be no different.
I wish they released the actual fighter outside of Japan.I would like to get another chance at playing it and figuring out how the fuck the clashing system works.

S.D. you're hilarious. Tell me more, won't you? Anyways, some folks have been streaming online play from the Japanese PS3 version to show interest for 5pb's facebook page letting them know people are interested in having Phantom Breaker: Extra come to America. The game is fun and doesn't require the normal button inputs similar to your Capcom and SNK fighters. Even beginners who are new to the series won't have much difficulty getting into it.
I can tell you that if you think that Phantom Breaker is a good game then your quality standards have to be extremely low
Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Overdrive for PS4 is coming to NA this summer.QuoteThis is an enhanced version of their beat ‘em up with more enemies on the screen, new skills, and new items made exclusively for PlayStation 4.Maybe the steam version will get these upgrades as well?No word on Frau or the two Schrödinger girls yet.EDIT: A more detailed article.
For Steam owners of Battlegrounds, online mode beta has launched. Also, be on the look out for the Kemonomimi Costume DLC that will be free for it's first month of release.
This series is still alive.Phantom Breaker Omnia will be released in 2021. This is the first time the mainline fighting game is coming to the west for real this time. Extra style has been replaced by Omnia style. Two new (currently unrevealed) characters will be added to the game. We're also getting an English dub, with some big names in the cast. It will be releasing on PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and Steam. Limited physical editions will also be released for PS4 and Switch.Another article link that shows gameplay and a trailer. Steam pageI'm honestly astonished this is happening.
Well, it's always good to see new fighting games coming out. Looks pretty cool, though a bit generic.
