Hi everyone and this character I am working on is the first character I am working on. It's POTS-Style Spider-Man! Currently as of now, I am working on his animations but once that's done, I'll start coding. I promise this version of Spidey will contain his moves from his appearances in the MvC series and also even moves from ZVitor's Spidey minus the web meter. Update: It's been eight days since I've been working on the project and I've got unfortunate news. Due to having a lack of knowledge, motivation and just being terrified to work on the character, this project has been cancelled and I will no longer continue working on it due to me making the mistake of not knowing what I was doing. However, if anyone else wants to work on this project, please DM me and I'll respond. From now on, if I ever decide to make MUGEN stuff, I'll be mostly doing edits of already-existing characters.
That's unfortunate... I was looking forward to this project. Don't be afraid to ask for help if you need, or just take a time. There is a lot of resources and information about MUGEN here and on the internet in general. I really hope you don't give up and continue with the project!
Hey, thanks. I felt quite demotivated when I made the update. But now, I might continue the project. I just need time and knowledge. I think seeing modern "POTS-Style" slop from creators like varo hades and Laslab Games is one of the reasons I was discouraged from doing the project. I just have gotta have patience and some courage. Yeah, I know it's weird for me to say this now after just 23 minutes ago. But now, I feel a little motivated to continue. Also your work is pretty good.
It's normal to feel like this, but is important to not give up. Glad you decided to continue it. I was pretty sloppy when I started too, and I still think my work isn't as good as I wanted it to be, there is always room for improvement. And thanks for the kind words! I would really like to see a new POTSStyle Spiderman.The Varo-Hades Spiderman is not bad, I feel it a little strange.

His maximum spider is way off and the AI pattern ain't really good. He doesn't even have his moves from other of his appearances in the MvC series. I heard he does commissions for the characters he makes, why charge people for god knows how much just to produce what is really a mediocre product. And that is one of the reason why I started this project, to attempt making a POTS-Style Spider-Man that is basically a definitive version with also ZVitor's Spidey's few moves and also all his supers. But I will say one positive thing about varo hades' Spidey. It gave us the hilarious pizza voicepack.
I agree with your opinion, I am extremely interested in a CvS arrange Spidey that isn't a psuedo shoto like MvC series. Zvitor's Spidey was very ahead of it's time, but the execution on some ideas could have been better, is there any way we can help keep you motivated for this project?

I posted a thread in the development help category, so if you got advice or ideas, I suggest posting it there.
Update 2: Hey guys, just letting you all know the project isn't abandoned. I'm currently coding rn, and looking at other POTS-style characters, REDHOT and Zvitor's versions of Spider-Man for reference. I've also made some big portraits and included a LVL 3 portrait by HadeS that was edited by RagingRowen in the portraits folder for those who have fighter factory and want to change certain portraits. Not much else really, but here is list of what I gotta do for my character.List:-Code in the system, normal, specials, supers, hypers, helpers and movelist.-Add in AI that is at least decent.-Add in readme.-Add in midnight bliss sprites by GaryCXJk.-Make colour separation palette for the character.-Release character for play testers.-Fix bugs if any are found to polish the character.-And of course, releasing the character to the public.But yeah, here are the portraits.https://imgur.com/ZkKTcAM
