Sagat's shuffle always looked... not so great. I thought maybe adding details to his leg muscles might help show which leg has his weight on it.
I came up with this.
New   VS   Old

With out it moving it's even worse.. But Im posting for additional comments on how to highlight it just a little better. I was thinking if I did each arm independently swinging. Like people regularly do when they walk. Left arm out while right leg is out. Vise Versa.

I'm using SagatMG by Master Gouken as my base.

Can you put the walk he had before, for comparison?

The original post is updated. My update is on the Left for anyone late to the thread and is confused.
The left is my walking forward animation. The Right animation is both forwards and backwards for the standard Sagat. (as far as I know)

I'm also thinking about getting rid of a lot of the bobbing up and down. If he's skimming his feet on the ground he wouldnt bounce like a regular walk. The speed of the right animation's bounce looks like he's walking normal, almost jogging. But if you watch his foot placement in game they slide almost like a moonwalk. In one up and down bob animation, he's put his weight on both feet and pushed off of each one. It's two steps for 1 up and down.
Slowing it down for my animation helps but to keep his feet in place I have to slow his walk.fwd  from 2.4 down to 2.0. Even then they slide a little.

I updated the new version of the walk. I didnt have the sprites that had the pressure off his left leg.
