so when I try to edit/make a character I get this message "Cannot create file "C:\Program Files (x86)\VirtuallTek\Fighter Factory\Chars\characters\name\name.cmd" . Access is denied" ??? yeah how do I fix that.

You don't have permission to write files in your program files directory. Obviously. Is this your personal PC? Do you share it with anyone else? Is it under your absolute control?

yes this is my PC, I share it with my cousin but thats it,and for the most part Its under my control.

Go to C:\Program Files

Right click on that folder. See if Read Only is checked, if it is, uncheck it. Do the same for every folder as you go down the error message.
