Sega is getting back into the fighting game ring with arcade game ports. The "Model2 Collection" includes Virtual Fighter 2, Fighting Vipers, and Sonic the Fighters. All three games have been upgraded with online play are slated for release this fall on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade. Cyber Troopers Virtual On and Virtua Striker are also on their way to PS3 and Xbox 360 at a later date.

Virtual Fighter 2 has more enhancements like spectator mode and the option to switch between Version 2.0 and Version 2.1. Fighting Vipers has Mahler, a secret character in the Saturn version, available from the beginning. This version of Sonic the Fighters makes boss characters Metal Sonic and Dr. Eggman playable.

Yeah 2 games includes aren't fighting game but 3 are(plus they are the 3 releasing this year) so i figured this is a better place for it, if mods think it isn't could one of them move it to gaming then.

Mahler for FV unlocked already?  Nice.  Pity there's no Pepsiman, but I guess that licensing issues now would be more hassle than they're worth.

I decent port of Last Bronx would also be nice, the Saturn one was ok, but felt like it was lacking something.  I'd never cared for Megamix that much but I'd happily welcome it, if it meant that I could have my mind eroded by the training mode music once again. "I've fallen, and I can't get up!"

I wouldn't count on them to make a Megamix port since it was Saturn-only and these are straight up enhanced Model 2 ports.
If they made FM using their higher quality assets and music that looped and didn't reset after every round, I would buy that game so hard.
So fuckin' hard.

I'm definitely picking up Sonic the Fighters when it's released. The fact that every character from the original game and cancelled Sega Saturn port is being restored (Eggman and Metal Sonic weren't playable in the original arcade game, and Honey was meant to be in the cancelled Saturn port despite her In-Game Character model being hidden in the game's data) and Online Multiplayer is being added made it a Must-Buy for me.
