I have a BGCtrl to make little dust balls float across the screen.
I reset the pos to the original spot on a loop.
How can I make it so the respawn point is outside of the screen, instead of x=620, y=200.
I dont want the dust to appear out of nowhere. I need it to float into the screen from the right. But when the players move right, 620 could be at the left of the screen and the dust appears there.
Is there a way?

What is the purpose of placing it offscreen?
If it's just because the dust ball moves accross the stage, then you could simply place it out of bounds (even if the players move, the dust ball will still be offscreen). Check the stage def to know the size of the stage and then set your respawning point accordingly

Alternatively, use enable or visible bgctrls, or play with the timing loops

My stage is extremely long. Most stages I have are 400 to 600 wide. A long one I have is 1,400. The stage I'm making is 4,000.
Placing them out of bounds at 2,000 pixels to the right and having them move on screen would take forever, or they'd be moving much too fast.

I want them to spawn off screen so they dont just appear out of nowhere. The only real option would be to spawn them under the floor and have them move upward. But that's the exact opposite of what I want them to do. They need to float in from the right, and fade out while they slowly drop.

Having the dust instantly appear looks very bad. Fading them in with Addition is pretty bad too.

I need something like a posset where it looks at the screen position or something.
Can stages "do math"?

Right now, without being able to respawn them right outside of the camera's view, I _THINK_ I have 2 reeeeaaaallly crappy options.
#1, spawn a single wave of dust bunnies. I could position a lot of them for the round start, have them move, and then they're gone with no respawn.
#2, spawn the original set and only respawn the dust all the way to the right of the stage.
Both options are trash, imho.

Is there a way for the stage to know where the camera or player's are on screen?
