Stage question

[Ask My Manager]

Would it be possible to make a stage out of a gif image, like one from emugifs?

I'm gonna attempt to make the Cinco De Mayo stage from AOF3 since I can't find it.

You need to separate all the images in the gif into separate images.
Then just add them in the .sff as a usual stage.

I figured I'd have to do that, but how would I separate the pics? Photoshop?
