Stagevar problem (SOLVED)

I'm basically having the same exact problem that Borghi had in this thread,

I've been trying to mess around with stage interactivity, but so far...

First I had the "Error message: Trigger not valid for mugenversion of character: StageVar" problem, which I solved after going to that updating to 1.0 link,

then I had the "Error message: Trigger not valid for mugenversion of character: StageVar" error which I unfortunately am still having.

I added mugenversion = 1.0 to my character's main .def file under Info. Is there something I'm missing here?

The only thing I've done different on the other .def files from what the website said is the localcoords. They aren't 320, 240 in any of the stages or system file. But that is because the fullgame I'm doing has it's own particular ratio. :\ Hopefully that doesn't matter.

Otherwise I really have no clue what I'm doing wrong.

that isn't so necesary, i check that with kfm from winmugen in mugen 1.0 and it works... maybe some sintax are wrong

trigger1 = StageVar(info.name) = "Stage name"

trigger1 = StageVar(info.displayname) = "Stage Show name"

trigger1 = StageVar(info.author) = "Stage Author name"



are u really using this trigger on mugen 1.0 remember that doesn't works on winmugen or non RC8 version, check that in main menu pressing F1 if you have other version

Hmm. I tried another of those triggers and apparently the author name one is what I was doing wrong..somehow.

So yeah, now its fine. Thanks guys!
