Does anyone know if there is any way to retain your inputs within a state or variable for later use? For context I'm hoping to use this idea to make a dummy character for MUGEN that can be used as a sort of bootleg record function that you'd typically see in most fighting game training modes

Cyanide

Takes a few variables but yes. You just store statenos and time spent in the state.

If its around still. Aokmaniac13s chronos has a super a little like this.

In M.U.G.E.N there is no magic button

They say a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, but it's not one half so bad as a lot of ignorance.

GrimeDoc

Sounds like I can pick up a thing or two from this character. I'll download him and have a little nosy through his code
