I'm trying to make a stage but when I try to open a .sff file it always displays me a error message: Stream Read Error

Is this in fighter factory? Some characters have this (Minoo's is an example). They'll not open in FF Classic but they will open fine in FFU.

Any char who uses SFFv2 produces the same problem, and there is no way around it using FF.

If your sff is V2 you can't open with sff... but if isn't a sff2 you can open that with MCM and try to fix, Download here:

http://randomselect.piiym.net/ -> Download Tools -> In "Tools for M.U.G.E.N (Creation Suites)" -> M.C.M.

Open the corrupted sff and when its totally open save, and this is all to fix some sprites wrong indexed, or bad colors or something like that. try again if now you can open the file.

Open it with FFU and save it, the stream read error should die

Hes saying that not even FFU can open it, which is most likely caused by either a corrupt SFF file or the file he's trying to open is SFFv2
