Hey Ghost killer any chance you could update Sagat's normals to SF4 versions as to make his moveset
contain less recycled animations? I know know these are verrry bad screenshots of his new normals in
SF4 but I hope you see what animations I'm talking about anyway here's the updated moves he had in SF4.

Crouching light punch-

Crouching Medium kick-

Standing Medium kick-

Air forward medium punch-

Air neutral Heavy Kick-

I think most of these would be very simple edits to do as Sagat has similar animations in some of his sprites to do some
frankenspriting and Sagat already has a near indentical animation in his SFA3 sprites for the Standing medium kick.

Edit: fixed two pic that were upside down I have no idea why they displayed like that.

Hmmm, I'll get on to this. Even though I can only make a few of these anims just by frankenspriting, I'll make what I can. Good idea man, and thanks.

Alright, so I haven't made an update in a while. I have been waiting, working on Sagat so I could post a large update.... and been lazy with posting said updates. Well, here it is.

So, I've been working on a lot of Sagat's sprites converting them from SFA to SF3 style, not all of them are done, far from it, but it's progress. I have been adding in RJB/Custom effects. However I need Sagat's SFA Tiger Shot + Cannon effects.

In terms of attacks, I've added in High Step Kick from SF4...

...and I've (almost?) finished coding EX Tiger Shot.

About to work on Grand Tiger Shot. Might make an MB-02 soundpack if I can get permission from the author to use his sounds. I might give Sagat his "Angry Scar" buff too.

I want to ask, why did you go for CVS2 instead of alpha on the actual tiger shots? From what I remember, the SFIII series still had that classic Capcom effect to it (Low-res CPS2-3 look).

I mentioned in an earlier post that I don't have the SFA effects yet. Sagat has two effect modes, RajaaBoy/CVS/Custom and SF3 and since I don't have the Alpha effects yet, the custom fireball effects used in the SF3 mode are a placeholder for now. I also felt like showing off said custom effects.

Thanks man, I'm glad you like my work. Sagat is one of my favorite SF chars too and is one of my mains on SF4, SVC and SFA3.

That stance looks pretty good, it looks more like Sagat's SF4 stance imo. Chamat's version of the Idle Stance had the arms up a bit higher too. When chuchoryu made his version of the sprites, he lowered the arms for some reason.

yes you're right, it's ispired from sf4.
and cause sagat is not a sf3 char, i tought that maybe you could try to make him as realistic as possible (since sf4 is far better than sf3 in this part).

as I told i can assure you that sf4 sagat stance is the most accurate to a real thai fighter.
