WinMugen Plus (Hi-Res) vs Mugen 1.0

It's been a long time since I've worked with Mugen. Quite a bit has changed, and I need a few things explained.

1. What are the differences between WinMugen Plus and Mugen 1.0?

2. Do characters from WinMugen and WinMugen Plus work in Mugen 1.0? If so, is there something different you have to do to make them work, and if so, what?

3. Do stages from WinMugen and WinMugen Plus work in Mugen 1.0? If so, is there something different you have to do to make them work, and if so, what?

4. Is it worth making the switch from WinMugen Plus to Mugen 1.0? I currently have a custom-built version of EVE Battle for WinMugen Plus. So far, It's the best screenpack I have. (1500+ characters...and only half full, 750+ stages) If I'm going to switch to Mugen 1.0, I want to make sure it's worth it before I spend a few months moving these characters to the new system.

5. Is it possible to just take the screenpack I have and convert it to Mugen 1.0? If so, how?

You will not stop me!

1. WinMugen+ is just a hacked version of WinMugen meant for hi-res. Mugen 1.0 supports many resolutions.

2. Most characters in WinMugen will work in 1.0. If it doesn't work, that's the author's own fault.

3. Same thing applies to most stages.

4. It's totally worth the switch. Less crashes as it's much more stable.

5. Someone else might be better at answering this than me.
