MS-DOS?
Sega Saturn? or
PS1?

and to rip sprites?

to hell with this site, find me at mffa or w/e

so it seems graphically they seem to be all the same; character sprites are woefully undersized. ms-dos MIGHT be slightly bigger, from what i'm watching, but i can't tell all that well

saturn would probably be the best route, if they're all the same size, thanks to yabause, as i attempted an ahmed sheet long ago

i played the ps1 version emulated and it just freaked the hell out when it got in-game, curious if they fixed that in future epsxe builds

I did some comparisons ...
ps1 and sega saturn are similar - the downside? more pixels, the image looks more dirty, but with more details
msdos, the image is a little cleaner - the downside? It seems more cartoonized

melv, what is the your method to rip in yabause?

I found as ripping ...
and, in my opinion, in sega saturn is better - has more sprites people in the crowd ... but, in msdos, has different sprites (other people or items).
worth checking both versions
