Increase in Stababilty?

Hey guys, i was wondering how stable your mugen's are. Is there a way to have around 400 characters without it crashing or freezing. Someone said my BrokenMugen Screenpack might be the problem, if that's the case i gotta find a screenpack with the same type of select screen.

But anyway, if it isn't, what could possibly be the problem?

not enough RAM. Delete some of your characters until a number your computer can handle it

Let us know if this works. Mine crashes every now and then (not too often), so i'd be curious to see how more memory helps. Also, I thought I saw another thread in this forum about making MUGEN more stable by editing stage files that have no intro or ending and other things. Not sure if that really works, but if anyone tried it and it works, please let us know.

Is RAM indeed the only solution? if it is then I'm outta luck as I'm broke... jejeje. Seriously though is there nothing that can be edited in the main mugen.cfg file to lower the probability of mugen crashing without lowering the quality too much?

decrease the number of helpers and explods in mugen.cfg, but keep in mind that some characters may not work properly then
