Personally I think if you take off 10 percent of all CPS2 character's X scale makes them look much better.  They aren't as fat looking, and blend in better with NeoGeo characters.

(So in a capcom character's CNS file you would change this)
xscale = .9
yscale = 1

Also Guilty Gear X charactrers are usually sized differently than the rest.  I think if you take 5% off the X and Y Scales it'll make them the same size as the rest.

Naruto sucks.

You are using "I think" in a place designed to inform people correctly...

Many people risk their lives everyday by having Mugen.

Maybe a screenshot comparison would also help clearing this up.

Well I put "I think" because perhaps here would be a good place for people to disagree and put their scales.  I'm pretty happy with those sizes, but someone might have a better idea.

Also here would be a good place to post the best sizes for Art of Fighting and Kizuna characters as well.
Check me out.

Also, the scaling is buggy (at least in the last DOS Mugen version).

Screens showing comparison between CPS2 and MUGEN:

CPS2: Taken with PrintScreen. Of course, people aren't going to use this method, because of quality loss.

MUGEN:

This is because taking screenshots using the emulator's SF features forces the images to be scaled to a certain dimension, like below:

CPS2: Taken with Kawaks' SF feature. Notice just how wide the screen is now.

This is why I scaled my Bison sprites to:

X = 0.9
Y = 1

Other creators use different values. For example, Orochi Herman uses:

X = 0.83
Y = 1.07

Personally, I'm just fine with 0.9 and 1, even if Bison looks weird sometimes. =X
