Rocky Balboa from the Slyvester Stallone Movie Rocky

Here's some images



50% images were redone from Gai[kof], rick strowd, and other boxers.
Remaining 50% were hand made by myself.

1. BASED on Sylvester Stallone's Movie Rocky Balboa
2. No invincibility of any sort and almost all hitdefs has only priority 4.
3. Slam and throws are custom style
4. Defensive A.I.
5. Free to use, remember to give me credit to let people know i made it. thanks

I played around with him for awhile, and:

The sprites themselves are okay, but mostly aren't animated very well. And there are a few other animation problems, (His Stand to crouch animation is looped, for example), and having only three buttons is kind of a weird setup, but other than that, I had a lot of fun with him.  I also think it's kinda funny that Mickey yells at him every time you're knocked down.

Not bad all for a start.

yes it is his birthday and yes i will work on fixing the  issues. about on the stand crouch animation.

his face on most animations have a different style then the rest of his sprites with head frames that match the sprite style
like

his sprite style based on cvs i can see but his standing sprite faces don't match even some of his frames that involve attacking have faces that match the sprite style
fix the face you kept reusing for other animations and he will be in a way ok
good job i know you can do more for sprite transitions

Great looking Rocky Balboa... Can you make him more KOF or SNK style? That'll be awesome.

I suggest to take some moves from chuchoryu's Steve Fox and chuchoryu's Lil' Mac.

If the result is great, you should try Ivan Drago... the face can be the one from BILL (search for it, Maxima and Billy Kane edit) or even Paul from Tekken.
Since 2010, I have not played Mugen... I would like to learn and even pay for sprites to get all original SNK/KOF characters done. Who's with me?

Easy... The way they could differ is by adding more stylish (or maybe a lack of it) to Balboa punches. Balboa punches strikes like one hit, with almost no curve to the punch swing, is more powerful and direct than those two.

I mean, can be a lessy aggressive Balrog. As well as you can differentiate him from other boxers adding unique combos, like rapid combo punches and then two uppers, One combo that could initiate with hooks to the body and then a charge punch, and also the Lvel 3 one can be one when he start saying "Adrianne" and start a 3 punch strong direct punches like Ryo Sakazaki or Takuma (with the same impact that they are so heavy that can break guards).

Just ideas bro.

Well, initially when i first started out , i was trying to do all the moves in all the rocky movies, after watching the fights for hours i found that stallone has like very few different punches snd i realise that i have to  improvise. i'll take a look at all the other available mugen boxers i can find and then give him more moves or combo. :)

I suggest to watch Cracker Jack from SFEX, he might be a kinda Rocky styled character, even he is from London I think. Other thing: about Special moves, not supers as I mentioned before, I think as he is the "Italian Stallion", to add a special move as "Horseshoe punch" or maybe "Anvil Punch"...

And also, I remember in Rocky III he did a suplex to Terry "Hulk" Hogan...
