Out of all seriousness.

Who thought this was a good idea?

No more layout options. Old layout is gone with the wind.

And now, we SUPPORT WAREHOUSING?!

I go to a barbecue for 6 hours, come back and all HELL breaks loose?

Honestly, I cannot believe this, this was not a good idea. Shit at least let us change the layout back.

I don't know how it will be possible for me to sustain myself in a place that's changed so drastically in so little time.

I'm seriously mad about this, but there's nothing I can do.  :(

layout was mainly changed for convenience. I might make the classic one selectable again. I miss my stepmania dancers guild theme :D

This has been in planning for longer than two months.  We know what we are doing.  Read the sticky threads for the reasoning behind them.

I'm in for the opensource... Oh boy, now I can finish some chars without restraints...

But about the warehouse thing... don't know. Maybe the word "sharing" should be used instead. As you know which site does. By the way, I wonder how many of them know about this.lol.

Just remember to be upfront about anything you may use from others. I'm sure you were, but just in case. Be truthful. It isn't a crime to get help from other's works, but it sure isn't nice to not thank them in some way ^_^

I agree with use of the word sharing. I think it's just that the word "Warehouse" has become such a stigma, that most people are freaking out about it now. It may be one of the leading causes of the chaos. But, meh, it'll all work out eventually. People just need to get accustomed to it.

good: No more bitching about theft, warehousing, requests. Let members directly involved manage it themselves. ie Person A stole from Person B, only those two should deal with the issue. Guild isn't the MUGEN police, so it shouldn't act like it anymore

bad: obviously goes against 'values' of the community that were held strong for a long time: warehousing, creators rights. obviously going to be people who are going to be upset about it, and are going to try and change it

I'm ok with the changes because for the most part my philosophy about mugen was more near to the actual position this forum has (mainly about open source and stuff). I remember a similar change in the Guild because the things there were too hard to mantain as here; they opened the doors to the newcomers and the administration started to act with a more benevolent hand.

The sad part is the guild went out of business some time after that :(

Ah, the old times.

I havn't deleted my account yet so I obviously like it. Took it long enough to happen!

Too bad it couldn't happen before the state of the community totally turned me off of doing anything mugen related :P
