Release section rules

  • Does this look like the face of mercy?
I was thinking if it would be possible to add some rules or at least guidelines in the releases section.

For example:
- Don't request in release threads
- There's no need to make a thread for characters you just happen to find unless it's a new release or have been updated
- Something about compilations, like don't post it unless there has been some actual editing besides putting several characters together in a single pack and maybe changing the portraits.
- Be nice to others Don't be dick and don't be a pussy if your work doesn't receive the positive reaction you expected.

That's all I could think of. What do you guys think? Any other ideas?

the instances in which those things happen are few and far inbetween so it's probably not worth it

How often does number 2 happen? I would see that as a problem if it's a common occurence.

Not very often, in fact it's the one thing in that list that happens the least:

(I should have reported that one.... so umm, that thread should not be there)

The most common thing from that list is the request part and I really haven't seen it recently.

- Number 1 happens a lot, way too much times. We have at least one person requesting in each week. This one should be in Rules, if it isn't.

- Number 2 hardly happens. It's not something we have to worry about right now.

- Number 3 happens sometimes. It would be a good idea to add it.

- Number 4 is a general rule, no need to make it only for Releases.

1: requests don't happen that often.
2: what happens the most in releases is people bumping very old threads. there's a very visible red text warning before they make that post and they disregard it. they still do it even though the forum tells them that it's not such a great idea. people are still going to post requests even if i add it to the sticky there
