Hi guys, how you doing ?
I was wondering how the hell we beat waru's monster chars ai ? I know I sucks playing fighting game, but is almost impossible to beat Rock, Dark Sakura, Sakura, Kyo, Kusanagi, Ryu, etc...(in my opinion).
Ikemen go ai level works ? If I lower the level of ai in options it will work ? but chars with no ai will become dumber ?
Here me playing, I can literally do anything here ...

I'm still learning to play with arcade stick, because I can't use controller for fighting games, I think if I learn more about arcade stick at least I can beat Ingrid...

btw any news about warusaki3 ? still want a decent Mai, Raiden, etc...doesn't work in ikemen go without bugs...it's been 4 years since he disappeared

Hello.

I can give you two advices:

After jump if you are very close or close to opponent, just wait a little time and use a level 3 Super, that always work for me. Other option is that you have to be careful when you jump, with Ryu for example I jump near to them and use medium kick on the air and in the floor wait just a little time and then use a level 3 super. In resume hit them while they are about to hit you.

And if you want to reduce the ai search this code on the cmd and change these values:

;AI
[State -1, AI]
type = VarSet ---> Null
triggerall = var(59) != 1 ---> 0
triggerall = RoundState != 3
trigger1  = command = "CPU1"
trigger2  = command = "CPU2"
trigger3  = command = "CPU3"
trigger4  = command = "CPU4"
trigger5  = command = "CPU5"
trigger6  = command = "CPU6"
trigger7  = command = "CPU7"
trigger8  = command = "CPU8"
trigger9  = command = "CPU9"
trigger10  = command = "CPU10"
trigger11  = command = "CPU11"
trigger12  = command = "CPU12"
trigger13  = command = "CPU13"
trigger14  = command = "CPU14"
trigger15  = command = "CPU15"
trigger16  = command = "CPU16"
trigger17  = command = "CPU17"
trigger18  = command = "CPU18"
trigger19  = command = "CPU19"
trigger20  = command = "CPU20"
trigger21  = command = "CPU21"
trigger22  = command = "CPU22"
trigger23  = command = "CPU23"
trigger24  = command = "CPU24"
trigger25  = command = "CPU25"
trigger26  = command = "CPU26"
trigger27  = command = "CPU27"
trigger28  = command = "CPU28"
trigger29  = command = "CPU29"
trigger30  = command = "CPU30"
var(59) = 1 ---> 0

Just in case here you have two examples of how to beat Hibiki and Ryu without turn off there AI:

Hi Charles, thank u, I have a question, is possible to beat Rock without reducing the ai ? About reducing the ai, I'm not too sure, if you say is impossible to beat Rock with waru's cvs chars then I reduce the ai..Btw, I'm still learning to play with arcade stick, because I can't use controller for fighting games, I think if I learn more about arcade stick at least I can beat Ingrid...

I can believe you was able to beat Rock, that's amazing !
are using arcade stick or controller ?
Sometimes I can't make a special moves because I'm not used to arcade stick, then I lose and sometimes I have impression the ai reads what move I'm going to do next ( I don't know if oobvious, because I don't know how ai works)
I'm going to keep practicing with arcade stick
Thank u Charles, you're amazing playing waru's cvs2 chars !

First, you gotta updated to source accurate CLSNs (hitbox data) as best you can to play the game accurately. YES it's that important, consider CvS2 is heavily footsies and pokes, you will need every little source accurate box you could get.

Kusanagi vs Rock

0:31 - pause it right here. Whenever you EVER cross up with Kyo or Kusanagi, you never want to sweep from that close. You want to utilize his crouch light punch / crouch light kick, as those could be linked into big damage combos.

0:35 - during a whiffed dodge, why not walk up and throw punish?

0:44 in this situation Kyo has the advantage, after the blocked upkicks, you couldve used cr.lk to pressure into big link combos

0:51 why did you wake up DP from that range? Kyo's DP doesnt cover that much range. it's better up close. but the default warusaki3 hitboxes for his dp are not good. plus I dont even think he has proper invincibility frames for his dp. it needs to be manually corrected according to CvS2 data

1:33 this is another problem of warusaki3's older stuff. the reason why you couldnt jump over that reppuken, was either 1) warusaki3 has incorrect jump velocity speeds and jump height, or 2) you accidentally did small jump. in mugen, small jumps often trigger a lot on accident for me. this cost me many bad punishes when i was in tournaments

honestly warusaki3'a AI's are not that difficult. just have perseverance and youll win

Sorry for late reply, I'm using arcade stick drone 1 qanba, however is very complicated to master, sometimes I want to go back to normal controller, but I know most of people use arcade stick, however I never tried to use arcade stick outside of mugen, because I have no fighting games or emulator, only mugen, maybe I should try to download cvs2 emulator and see the diference between the original and mugen version, however I want to be good in mugen, not cvs2 (original), the real and cruel truth is that I suck ! I will practice in training mode.
Thank u Charles

Hi Extravagant, I have been your fan for some time, I watched some matches that you played in the original cvs2 game, of course, I also watched pots vs warusaki3 videos (not sure if it was you ), I don't know what CLSNs (hitbox data) is, however I'll look for it later.
Thank u the feedback, but most of the time is because I can't do the super moves and special moves, I sucks, because the ai is not the problem, the problem is me, I should practice more with arcade stick(at leat where I can do the super and special moves easily).
A question Extravagant, did u start practicing in the cvs2 original or mugen version ? Maybe is just me, it seems like you were better in the original one (cvs2 original game), because at mugen version I didn't see to much combos (I didn't even know if was you who it was playing).
In short, I sucks and the answers to your question is because is because I don't practice enough to do combos, specials moves and super moves.
Thinking now I don't know what I was thinking when I created this topic.
Thank u extragavant and keep up the amazing tournament of ikemen go
