Here's something I made the other day:
What is still left to be done:
- colour & colour count optimization
- some small improvements

A mock-up for Dying Namek that I made for Neocide, I made the sky (now blobs of pixels, fuck you Photoshop) and foreground from scratch, but the rest of the effects were taken from X-Men CoTA, MSHvsSF, and Last Blade.

I don't want this thread to die, so I'm posting this here (because there isn't a theme thread for this to go to but here, apparently).


It's a redesign of my OC, Ioan Trafalgar. Most of what he has is pretty much gonna make it into the final product I have in mind, but I'll probably make him a lot more skinnier. Think.... Slayer from Guilty Gear.

So I've been working on SP related matters for the full game project that'll outdo Hyper Dragon Ball Z my Capcom vs. Square Enix project idea, and came up with this stuff:

-> A character select box with Ryu looking all snazzy with his SFV colors and that pose of his.

-> A name box for the character select screen. I plan to have the character's name (i.e. Ryu for this case) appear in full black, in the luxuriously beautiful Final Fantasy font and what not.

It does look pretty big compare to the portrait

I actually did some tracing from a 1280x720 sized screenshot showcasing MvC3 MUGEN life bars, wich was the source of my inspiration.

Should I make the lifebar rims smaller, or should I enlarge the ports??

Thanks! I didn't really change the Wings so much, it was fine the way they looked, I just fixed the banding issues really, but I kinda wanna fix up her arm shading a bit more, especially the upper area and the elbow shadow, but I'll do that another time
