Sorry, I had to revisit my Dimitrescu sprite.Demitri was done by Armentis, Hatter or someone from that team who I don't remember. Thanks for the kind words, guys!!I've gotta say that the purple in the clothes is totally my choice. Why? Blasphemous takes A LOT of inspiration at the Andalusian culture(which is an AMAZING one!!). The whole image of Penitente takes several notes of Semana Santa(Holy Week), where images(figures/estatues) of Saints, Jesuschrist, the Virgin Mary and etc, appears in procession. You can see that Penitente wears an iron conical headwear which is a free iconography by the guys. The hood worn in the Holy Week is made of fabric (and no!! nothing to see with the kukluxkan. To Hell with'em!)Well, the purple colour has a special meaning, since it symbolise the union between Humans and God(or translating into Blasphemous: the Miracle and the devouts). Thsi colour is for the effort humans must do for the eternal life(salvation) wich God(or the Miracle) promises. So the purple colour means redemption, repentance, faith, spirituality and sacrifice. You also can see this colour at Christ's tunic in the Saint Sepulchre, at his Via Crucis, shortly before his crucifixion. So, giving the similarities between both, I chose the purple. Also, something new. Well, not specially new, I just forgot to post it here, ahahahahahYes!! Alcina also needs to take a rest, doesn't she? Oh Hell, it's been time. Ash is getting some advances during the week, but weekends...well, that's a totally different story. Mostly playing videogames than else.Also, I did these 3 sprites just for fun. If Capcom plans to make an all stars and puts both Demitri and Lady Dimitescu, 1st sprite should be her MB, based in her crystal estatue once you defeat her in the castle. Then we got Oneechan Puppetescu, from the Japanese TV spot. All your sprite work is incredible, it is the prime example of what i want to achieve right now. You've been doing these for 12 years so far and it's so incredibly long.Do you directly draw by pixel or make a raster drawing before going on doing all the rest?I was trying to search in this thread if you had somehow made a tutorial somewhere, but i couldn't find anything. SNK and Capcom's styles are a pain to start.
