Last movie I watched: Surf's up

Review: I though it'd be childish and stupid, it turned out to be childish and funny + it had a nice soundtrack. Also the waves CG was pretty impressive  8)

Moon Light Lady.

Review:
The artwork was outstanding for a movie in it's category (Hentai). Not for everyone, but to others It's great to watch.

Review: if you like old school action films, the kind that is no longer done and is doomed today to late night tv, congratulations. this is the movie for you. the movie is perfect, no flaws whatsoever. and good' old action film, without drama, and plenty of explosions. entertainment at it best.

Does movies you've seen on TV count?

V for Vendetta
Over-rated shit. Bad acting, bad dialogue and the worst fake English accents since Keanu Reeves in Dracula. It attempts to combine The Matrix and 1984... and fails miserably. The plot isn't worth caring about and the action... there isn't enough.

Slighty over two lines... screw it.

Movie : Nightmare before Christmas

Review : this classic by Tim Burton should be watched from time to time, because everything in it is fabulous : graphics, music, atmosphere and a simple but efficient plot. If you've never watched it, go for it !

Movie: Harry Potter And the Order of The Phoenix

Review: For my part the best H.P Movie, the most close of the original book. The actors are better than in the 4th and the battle at the magic derpartement is so cool.

Grave of the Fireflies (animated).

The saddest, most heart wrenching movie ever. I almost cried watching it (it is extremely difficult for me to even feel the urge to cry). But the messages it leaves you with make the viewing more than satisfying. I recommend that everyone on the planet watch this movie.

Movie: Niñas mal (mexican)

Lots of gratuituous unnecessary boobie shots, not very deep, somewhat funny, the chicks are pretty ... I guess I only recommend it for the gratuituous boobie shots  :sugoi:

Last movie I watched: War

Review: I'm not a spoiler but this movie was way confusing, many twists and turns [with blades]. Great gun action, great storyline. It's defiantly worth seeing weather you are a Jet Li fan or a Jason Statham go see it

Hulk.

Its was ok. I loved how it had comic style effects in it, but the thing I didn't like was how long it was. It was like 2 hours and 40 minutes, way too long and little bit boring too. I had seen Hulk movie once from DVD, but now I saw it again from TV.

V2 - Jäätynyt Enkeli (Frozen Angel)

This movie was great. I also loved the first "Vares" movie that came out in TV for a while ago. The movie had lots of different and original characters, and action. People in thise forum should watch the movie, if they can find one with english subtitles since the movie is finnish.

Movie: Azumi (Japanese live action movie. The story is about one girl and 9 other orphans trained to be assassins and carrying out a mission during Japan's feudal times.)

My Review: Get ready to see people die!... In a "eh, that was cool, but it's been done before", sort of way. Hot Asian girl as lead character = +10, English dubbing = -5, The movie itself = somewhere inbetween.

Ichi the Killer (Japanese Live action).

Graphic, sadistic, gross (to some), and every bit great! Not for the feint of heart.

The Notebook

Watched it again, a couple days ago with my boyfriend. Heart wrenching and a love story to end all love stories, Rachel McAdams gave a stunning performance. Definitely watch if you want to get lucky while the credits roll :P

Movie : Hot Shot

Review : if you like this kind of jokes, this parody of Top Gun is really hilarious from the beginning to the end. Charlie Sheen in one of his best movies IMO.

Movie: The Bourne Ultimatum

Review:
It manages to be filled to the brim with cool action sequences and still have a good story.
Some twists near the end also help make this movie a pretty good watch.

Movie: Cello (A Korean horror movie based around a woman and how her late musical rival from her past torments her present day life and family.)

Review: About 10 mins into this "Grudge" clone, you'll either be pulling a MST3K on this or a drinking game to how often the little annoying girl whines about something. Hot female Asian lead character = +10, Hot female Asian support characters = +2 (some where just meh), Predictable storyline with a crappy offbeat premise added to it = +30 if you're drunk and/or making fun of it, -30 if you're not doing either.
