So over the last few months, I've started to rip characters and stages form 3d fighting games like Street Fighter IV, 5 and Mortal Kombat 9 and X. I have a little knowledge of modding these games to make ripping sprites easier and have them looking better and cleaner..

All the rips I've done have been in 1080p.. They all look amazing but I've noticed the loading times in MUEGN or IKEMEN Go have become slow.. The more I add to these characters or stages the longer it takes to load.

Below is a sample of what I'm working on. The character is Dan in his training outfit, broken down in simple colours to make his palette's easier to edit in the future.
The stage is the Old Temple from SFIV in some early stages.

all sprites I'm using are .PCX and 256 colours.

I'm just wondering, what do you guys think is best?
should I stay with 1080p? but limit how many frames I use per each animation?
or drop down to 720p and keep the characters and stages looking smooth with high amount of frames?
