It's like Times Square but in Japan...

So this one is special. This stage is a labor of love Hatter worked on sporadically for almost a decade. When he started sharing the beginning sketches I knew that I wanted to code this stage. So, when he came to me and asked me to hook it up, I was ready to get to it. I'm very proud and pleased to share this with you. It was an honor to make this, and it's always cool working with Hatter. We've made quite a few original stages together, and I hope you get to enjoy them all someday. For now, check out this gem. Enjoy!

Man I remember him talking about this stage years ago along with his rough drafts that he kept redoing over and over. Good to have this see the light of day. My only nitpick would be that it feels kinda empty considering its one of the busiest streets ever.

Thanks, bro. That's actually a fair assessment. If Hatter ever wants to draw some pedestrians or cars, I'd consider coding them.

Thanks, bro. I really enjoy doing stages with parallax. Couple that with the scale delta and multiple objectsacross the ground and it gives you that 3D effect. And with Hatter separating things so well, it made things a lot easier.
