The MG for Char's Rickdom was released in 2003 and the kit already features polycaps. The MG line has been ongoing since 1995. that's hardly an "old school" kit :)

Starting to work on building a respectable N64 collection.

I think I'm off to a good start.

About the same.  Around $65 or so, I think.  Which is total steal when you look at ebay and see that most cartridges start with an asking price of $80 or more.

Yeah, I had that same sort of luck when I found Xenoblade Chronicles at the Gamestop by work for $45. Lacked a manual (I bought one on ebay for $11), and the plastic on the case has a moderate sized hole (though it at least had the actual case and not one of GS' ugly "replacement cases"), but the ebay asking prices for that game are insane. There WAS a rerelease but you have to buy a N3DS just to be able to play that.

In 2006-2008 I regularly saw Bad Fur Day CIB go for 40€ on huuto.net, nowadays even a loose copy costs over 100€. I blame eBay.

I wish I had bought it back then.

More than buying it, I salvaged this poor Dreamcast from the hands of my little brother (little = he's 20, I'm 33).
This was the initial condition. As you can see, the plastic is showing that yellowish tone present in moderately old plastic. But here's where science and fashion collide to get that white color back to life.

After applying a few hands of Bleaching Gel and putting the parts on the sun the results are starting to show (for a better comparison, take a look at the Power button before/after).

Only thing left after this procedure is getting new resistors for the controller ports an this beauty will be fully functional again :)

I got a X360 Arcade today along with Dead Rising, Fable 2, NeverDead, Halo Reach and Sneak King (hue) for $60. (minus taxes)

But that wasn't the greatest find of the day, oh no.
That was at a pawn shop, see. And pawn shops have miracles.

Dude let me have both of these for ten each instead of $15 and $20.
Both all complete, with manual and protective plastic.
(FFV's box is a bit worn but I don't care)

What a steal! My Pawn shops used to be really good and worked with me, letting me know if something I was looking for came in. The owner changed and so did the staff, they also rose the prices on anything game related because Ebay is the place to base price points off.

Good buy on the 360 too! NeverDead isn't God Hand in how it was criminally under rated, but still an interesting game.

Another bundle of N64 stuff I found for dirt cheap on ebay.

Perfect Dark, 1080 Snowboarding, and Turok 2 don't really need any explanation I would think.  Flying Dragon is this weird obscure fighting game that's kind of interesting in that it's actually 2 completely different games in one.  It's got the regular mode with all the standard stuff and then a super deformed mode which has a completely unique roster of characters and movelists.   Armorines is some bullshit FPS that I tried to play for 20 minutes and proved itself to be laughably uncontrollable.

Said to myself "fuck it", and bought myself this Amiibo, since the NFC Amiibo reader is coming out soon.

And here's a group picture I took of the amiibo with all the statues I bought from last month (along with the Kirito one I bought from AX):

That's a fucking great haul son. I actually know of Flying Dragon too, I have some EGM somewhere with a full page ad for it.

I take it you have an expansion pak already BTW? The fact that this was cheap too just sweetens it too.

As much as I'd like to, I can't open 'er up and show you what's in it (book, OST, game itself) because it's actually possible I could be modded for the book's cover (the front and back cover make up a nude spread of one of the girls with just a sword covering her nipples).

Come on, it's not THAT obscure.
What sucks though is... that we never got the sequel.

The realistic mode is awful, SD mode is GREAT, getting items and new supers is pretty fun.

Welp. Might as well.
