This is pretty much his take on how the MUGEN Community is. Based on comments on his MUGEN videos and other user videos. (example: david2draw/dcatpower)

I fully agree with this video. And what he states. EDIT: But I don't think I see it a lot in forums. Videos, sure. But forums usually don't get out of hand, since it's a controlled place. YouTube on the other hand. Well that's just up to the poster of the video to delete.

Also I still don't get the YouTube community, it's like they're living in some island when it comes to updates/events/whatever yet they apparently manage to have more drama than us.

I tried to watch the video, but the characters take too long to appear. :-X

Edit: saw the entire text show now. I can't comment on the state of the YouTube MUGEN scene because I don't frequent it, but I agree (who wouldn't?) with JudgeSpear's message of how things ought to be.

I remember the time someone was doing a series of vids with a cheap character as "Cheapie Buster," and I told him that the whole idea destroys the point. He said I would "gain his respect" if I beat Soul Gen with a "normal" character, so I used LegatoB's Reimi Jyhana and beat him in one Round. He said I wasn't fighting Soul Gen "correctly," so I beat him in a three round fight without dying. After this, instead of gaining his respect, he told me to "masturbate to my ego," and all spectators demanded that Reimi be added to the cheap characters list. o_O

I thought I give my "two cents" about the matter, for whatever its worth.  Now, I have not been in this community long, and I've just now have started to be a part of MUGEN video community (YouTube, LiveVideo for some, or whatever).  I simply thought that it would be a fun thing to display what I can do with my fighting experience (or lack thereof) to the world, but particularly to the people in that community who insprired me to even do this.

However, I have seen some of the useless bitching and whining about certain characters getting beaten before all this hoopla got to this point.  Personally, I can give a rat's ass about what people think about who I'm fighting or who I'm fighting with (particularly overused characters like Tetsu, Homer Simpson, and Cell to name a few).  I just want to fight strong characters and show off what I can do to whoever even cares.  All the fanboys/girls in the world need to just get over themselves and get used to the fact that there are people who are going to kick specific characters' collective asses and there is nothing they can do about it because someone is going to do it in someone else's place.

That's all I got to say about that.  Anyone can take it for whatever it's worth.

Haruhi is fucking broken in regards to everything. ⑨'s characters are cheap, their CLSNs are retarded, and as for gameplay, I don't know much about Melty Blood so I can't tell you much there, but I think I am able to do some juggling where I'm not supposed to.

The best part is, they do dumb stuff, like banning characters from MUGEN "Tourneys" AKA AI only fights... yet they'll get all pissy when you suggest things, and say stuff like "LOL U CAN'T BAN  THEM FOR X REASON Y DO WE BAN STUFF AGAIN?".

Thats quite funny.  I don't think I've ever seen people get buthurt over something so..meaningless and intangible.  It's not like they even made the characters that get called cheap.  It makes sense now why Wild Tengu got all bent out of shape when HJK tried to tell him Daimon and Oswald(with patch) were cheap, lol.  I wasn't really aware he was part of the "Greater Youtube Mugen Community Secret society of Serious Business"

Now I've made a couple Vids myself, (only 3 so far).  But I wan't nothing to do with all this bullshit, So I guess it's a good thing I disable comments on my vids.  I also refuse to put in any stupid intros.  Plus I only use KOF characters, so I guess I would mostly avoid pissing off some of those Serious Business youtube mugen guys because I beat up his favorite mugen character.

Let's get this straight: Youtube wasn't first in doing what they do, they spawned a bunch of clones, and it is full of ignorance and people who take opinions as facts.

All that it has done to mugen was bring in a greater amount of jerks.
