nope, atleast, not in CvS style for sure. chucho's shit took me longer to do than athena, so im done with his stuff for now :/

hello gentlemen. nothing special but I thought I'd do an edit of an edit here. original sprite was Akuma but I thought this would work for Evil Ryu's Metsu Hadouken if you put the visual FX right. I only edited the sprites of Akuma based on a pose from and correct me if I'm wrong but I think the character was Yamazaki?



if you combine this with a few more sprites it not only looks smooth but looks the part of Metsu Hadouken

Wow very cool those sprites, as well it can be used a Ryu transformation, do you think to finish it? it needs some sprites more when it going to do the Hadouken.

Can't believe I didn't notice this, but that Raziel is amazing. However, I like the 2nd one more, has a JoJo vibe to it that makes it more pleasant for me.

in response to Yaret. there were only two sprites from that pose. I figured if anyone wanted to engineer it into their Evil Ryu for the Metsu Hadouken similar to SSF4:AE then they could do it.

You know... I only made it CVS-ish because the original attempt was also supposed to be CVS-ish (which I failed at, miserably). I wanted to know how much I had improved since my original attempt.

I'm happy with the new version, but as soon as I was done with it, the first thing that came to my mind was that I should've gone with a CPS-2 Darkstalkers style, which is much better suited to the character. I'll give it another go using this style. I'll probably use Lord Raptor/Zabel as a style-guide and Victor as a palette reference.

It's not really meant to be 2K2 Athena, it's just her CvS incarnation in a 2K2 derived outfit, that's why I didn't anything else TBH.

I like the way Terry looks, man! The animation looks fluid, but his right arm (our left) where the star pattern is, has some muscle with some shading. You did a very great job so far, bro.

Thanks. I only kept it that way because I was referencing Dark Raven's version of a CvS Garou Terry. But I'll keep that in mind for future stuff.

Credit goes to Abstract of course. Jin was massive compared to Ryu's cvs sprite, so I resized him slightly. I also looked at Ryu and one of Diepod's sprites for shading reference, as well as Jin's Tekken art to make it look cvs authentic. After looking at the Gouken redux I somewhat got inspired to do this.

Left is a 12 color sprite and right is just a bonus for uber Jin authenticity.

I literally had to use the inspect element feature and edit a number just to see that (fucking Tumblr won't work on my god-damn end), but my God I'm glad I did.
