What's wrong with it? The way he handled the shadows looks very much on par with Capcom's CPS3 stuff.

Its more just a personal thing tbh. I mean, don't get me wrong, it looks sick af, I just think a more traditional approach would be to use the shadow shades in a similar fashion to Hugo. The brightest shade being for general dark areas, and the other 3 being used mostly for anti aliasing, and line work. Again, thats just me it does look bloody awesome, incredible work dude

(PS: I am keeping that skin pallete my god its good XD)

I agree with Yoshin, it's not perfect cps3 shading. I still need a lot of practice in this style to get a better feel of it. Anyway, thank you for your comments and support, guys. I really appreciate it.

Late reply, but thanks for the kind words, I'm glad you like.

Here's a remake of my Toph sprite:

I'd post the old version to show you a before-after, but I think I lost the sprite. Nothing of value lost anyway.

Not bad, but its overall aesthetic needs some work. Wouldn't his left arm receive more light since its close to the lightsource?
