Scaled back a fair bit, at the same time the pixel blocky ports annoy me, but I really cant be assed to make so manny ports just to look HD.

Alright, decided to do a big revamp on my "official" CvS/CFJ+ roster. :pleased:

Oh boy.

1,655 characters in total. A lot of these were personally handpicked.

My goal is to put the boss characters in the center.
I plan to put Gill below Normal Akuma followed by Shin Akuma and maybe Final M. Bison.
For the SNK side, I may put either Goenitz or Orochi, with a NESTS boss below, maybe Igniz.

I was clearing up my old cd roms and I found this in one of my old cd rom that was way back in year 2004:

One of my local friend's friend Mugen game which they gave me in year 2004 where I saw them playing Mugen at the school library. The one that they played at the school library was 2000.01.01's version which I wanted it badly from them at that time. I challenged one of their friend who always use Shin Iori by Wongmugen and I used Gouki by VK. The stage that we fought was in Ooeyama aka Kinu's stage from Kabuki Klash. I remembered I almost won him, but he kept on pressing the spacebar key :P

My real life is coming soon........!

Retro Respecter

I never done this before, bu...

I am still thinking about what to do about those empty spots.

It took freaking forever, but I was finally able to fix all the graphic glitches that pop up in Broken Mugen when you try to run it using .png images in 1.1, so I've switched back to it.

I've also redone almost every double res portrait using everything I learned and all the feedback I got from my legacy portraits.

As for the Roster itself, there is much love for "pots-ish" or CVS Arrange style stuff. All of the Shades of Manhattan characters fit well, as do all the Big Bang Beat characters(using the Ryu from the streets edits).

Also showing some love for some old school mugen characters that I hardly ever see anyone use any more.  At the end of the second to last row are all rickards chars, then at the bottom I've got Blacks generic NEST guys, Juke Kisaragi's Chars, AIDUZZI's chars, and a few of what I'd consider the better Original the Characters. I had to spend some time fixing a few of them to work in 1.1

I know its hard to tell which version of what character I'm using since its custom ports, but just assume if a cvs/pots/capcom style version of it exists somewhere... that's the one I'm using.

I finally went ahead and merged the HDBZ and SHADES 2 fullgames into my CvSish roster.

It looks beautiful! :qq:

If you're actually curious about the scattered looking from it, here's the way characters are ordered:
Spoiler (click to show)

Top side: Capcom party, and franchises who already have, oficially, either crossed over, or featured a Capcom character - whenever a 6-buttons Power Ranger comes to Mugen, it goes here;

Bottom side: SNK party, franchises who are somehow related to SNK, and everything else in the world that is 6-buttons and fits against a CvS char.

Few exceptions for the 6-buttons rule are placed at the very last slots of each side. (Thinking about it, I could just build up a 4-buttons exclusive roster, and move them to that. :ninja:)

Franchises with a big selection of characters are organized similarly to how these characters first appeared in their official games, with random slots representing the missing characters from those franchises (so it's easy to keep up with new stuff). See the Street Fighter section? And how the KoF characters were ordered like teams? That's how clever & nitpicky I am. :)

That Billy Kane doesn't look like the one I'm used to (Infinite's version).

Nah it's definitely the same one, just a different small portrait

Here's an older one I found from one of my flash drives.
