incoming tech nerd ramble...


so i was interested in a raspberry pi to use as a lightweight ad blocker and access point. only problem is, tech shops are non essential and so i can't get my hands on one.
so i found this old ass LG phone laying around and thought... maybe i can root this thing and install an ad blocker and netshare on it, and to hell with a raspberry pi.

spent two days on it trying to downgrade it to android 5. because that version allows kingroot to work on it regardless of bootloader state.
and in the end, i did it. i managed to root this locked down shitty phone, and it was all for nothing.
turns out the system partition is read only for some reason so i can't modify the hosts file even with root, meaning no ad blocker. and as an access point, it works but its super slow and barely passes the signal of the wifi.

if i wasn't stuck at home doing nothing else, i would've been sorely disappointed.

Wow Everyone, i just found out some really bad news coming from Canada. There has recently been a Mass Shooting up there. I dont really know all of the details but i think that they said around 19 people died. (i could be wrong but i dont really know) This Really saddens me because i know that over 90% of my Monthly listeners were from the state of Canada and my monthly listeners dwindled down from 151 monthly listeners all the way down to 20. Im hoping and praying that none of my listeners were among the ones who were killed and im also hoping that ALL of those who were killed went to heaven. I hope that you are all doing well, i have some NEW Online Digital CD releases out now and some more CDs in the works, and ive ALSO Updated my Website with some New Updates, (including a NEW CD that i wanted to dedicate to my Fans in Canada) However im also planning on making a "True" Canada Dedication CD VERY SOON!
