you know the mugen docs explain alot when u wanna find out what does what. It's kinda how i learned.
Also, like many creators we have other things to do that are usually non-mugen related which leaves us with less time for
helping let alone making our own stuff. I tried to help when i made that AI for it. mainly cause in the process i had to fix some things
like that annoying broken parry system. However I found out that my changes/AI weren't used. Thus that was a sign to me that
you didn't want/need my help to begin with.

I'm sure your style doesnt involve half the stuff i see in vids showing its problems that you have yet to fix. like his ability to
cancel out of being hit,(that's AI related so I'll let that slide, HOWEVER when i coded his AI that wasnt a problem) and the lack of

My opinion: In actuality you do seem to pay more attention to people who bash your work than those who give feedback. I hope you actually fixed all the things i listed that was wrong with Dark Sean for I didn't put it in any offensive manner. I'm sure you know this but it makes more sense to fix whats wrong with your stuff if it is actually a problem and to ignore opinions unless they spark more ideas that will make the char better. Responding to being bashed only tells them to keep doing it unless you can cancel their argument out. Hell even Evilslayer gave me some ideas that weren't useless.

I agree that there are much worse things that came out last year than your stuff. The point being that you gouken was updated again and again and the same problems tended to show up. I have yet to play in depth with gouken since my AI patch that was unused. WHEN I HAVE TIME, I'll give you some more specific feedback.

Agreed. There should not EVER be clsn box problems in your first beta. I don't care if you hate them. It doesn't matter if they're a pain or not. On first beta the clsn boxes should be CORRECT for the character. There is no accuracy if you're not doing accurate, but there is a level of correctness that should be followed. One of these is not using the clsn's from a low kick for a light punch.

If someone tells you something is an infinite, or makes him stand on air, your response should be to fix it, or explain why that thing is in there. If you're UNABLE to fix something, ASK. We have a help section, MI has a help section, if something is giving you grief make a thread and ask how to fix it. Don't gloss over it by adding another special and a winpose. People go back and check that their old bug was fixed before they bother looking for anything new. If there IS something new, they're more likely to stop bothering because you aren't fixing the old stuff.

This is what i've seen in the thread. I have not yet downloaded gouken or dante (nor did i vote for anything). You have reacted instantly and with immense fervour towards anything that's pointing out a pretty obvious flaw. You haven't done very much at all when people say something is wrong.

This attitude has 2 effects. The people you're railing against start trolling you. The people who were trying to help ignore you because you're not responding in any way that makes their effort worth it. Why should they continue to test your character to help you improve it, if you won't improve it on their advice.

Motif as in graphic. Shapes and colors. And you have a terrible lack of literary culture for saying such things, or are just being angry at something just because you don't like it (or worse, you don't know what it is and you still say that). Mah, that's what you do afterall.
edit - also forgot the possibility that you hate the original story (probably without knowing it) just because you hate the fans, which is also what you do.
Lord of the rings isn't "pretending to be deep", Death Note isn't "pretending to be deep", Fate isn't "pretending to be deep", One Piece isn't "pretending to be deep". Suzumiya Haruhi isn't "pretending to be deep". It's just stories, fantasy. People like it, people don't. The authors want to give it a meaning, the readers see a meaning in it. Deal with it.
