Urgh. It shouldn't BE a surprise. You shouldn't even be talking about it as a surprise. It's something you should have done before you ever released anything. The correct response is "I'm fixing that and it will be in the next update"

I also think that asking in the development help for assistance would help you more rather than getting someone else to take a look and tell you whats wrong. I believe It's better to get an opinion from many others, publicly, so anyone can give you advice on any particular method they know, one person looking and telling you what's wrong means you didn't find it for yourself; that's not particularly bad, but from the way you are posting it seems like you think people are supposed to help you and that that's the only way you can find something that should be adjusted in any particular character you are creating.

I actually read the original story and got bored of it fairly quickly, although you are correct in thinking that the fans have made the altogether experience worse.

Because it actually is! And no, Tsukihime doesn't get points for being as long as all three LOTR books combined, and that goes double for FSN for being three times as long as Tsukihime. Yes I've done my homework, that's approximately how long those games are.

Blood Riot Iori has recoded Gouken in one month better than Alexlexus has coded him in one year.
When he was told to fix his CLSNs, holy shit : HE ACTUALLY FIXED THEM !!! A Gouken with decent collision boxes : HOLY MOTHER FUCKING SHIT !!!
When he was told to fix the bugs, holy shit : HE ACTUALLY FIXED THEM !!! A Gouken with almost no glitches : HOLY MOTHER FUCKING SHIT !!!
His vision of Gouken is not perfect, voices and FX still need work, gameplay is not perfect since the style is kinda strange (SF4 in 2D), and he would have not been able to create this char save for Alexlexus' sprinting on Gouken (which is the one and only good thing with him), but he actually fixes bugs.

i appreciate the words of likage (yes, i said likage, if that's even a word), but i don't wanna be involved in this thread heh.  My gouken was not up for any awards, and personally i'd rather keep it that way, since i feel this character of the year, worst character, ect, is usually nothing but a popularity contest.  I guarantee you 90% of the people who voted alexus on any of those lists, are the same ones who gave him problems in the past (i'm refering to all the old hate videos, ect), which is why i told him to just ignore it, because no matter WHAT he says or does, those people will still give him crap, so it's best to ignore them.  I personally think alexus has come quite a long way from when he started, even if he hasn't made everyone "happy" i think he's learning that he can do w/e he wants to do if he just tries hard enough.

But back on topic, i'm glad you like my gouken lol, i'm happy he wasn't nominated for anything right now though, there's still too much wrong with him imo to be considered "ready" to be considered great lol.  I've actually got a little release coming soon that fixes alot of minor problems and takes care of some things i wanted him to have before

So why do you bring up something like "Fate is trying to be deep" ? It's a really stupid thing to say about a story - any kind of story. They're written with a purpose, as you just explained to me that One Piece was made for gags, that Fate is being arousing (except not really the main attraction, especially when that bit is completely removed in the PS2 version), that Haruhi is entertainment. So why did you just go and say "it's pretending to be deep" ? That sentence doesn't even mean anything because it's something that can be neither supported nor opposed with any sort of decent argument, it's just being degrading for the sake of being degrading. It's something anyone who's trying to be hurtful can say on anything, be it Orwell, Kipling or LotR or even any sort of opinion (lol Nietzsche pretends to be as deep as his abyss but really isn't). It's a blank sentence, a "joker troll" card, with no possibility of argument in whichever side.
It's a story like the others we mentionned. You saying something like that is just you not liking it. And saying a story sucks for such an argument shows, like I said, lack of culture (and I don't mean that in how many books you can have read, if you can't make anything worth it out of them). It would make no sense to say that to whichever other great book you want, nevermind that it is actually "deep" or not. It's just you and what you see in it.
